Program Summary:
There can be little doubt that any organization, however focused its goals, will not succeed without strong and effective leadership. The Leading an Empowered Organization (LEO) program is an exciting and inspirational three day program that enables novice and experienced leaders alike deepen their understanding of many aspects of leadership, and begin to appreciate how they can work in an empowered way even within a more traditional organizational structure. The workshop utilizes a conceptual framework for leadership and through a structured and innovative approach participants learn how to empower themselves, their staff and problem solve in a way that enables their colleagues to embrace the challenges of change and make it more sustainable.
If your organization is just starting to think about Magnet certification, is currently on the Magnet journey or has already achieved Magnet status then the LEO program will help you to achieve and maintain your goals. You may be thinking of implementing a major change in your organization such as the way care is delivered i.e. Relationship Based Care, or be implementing changes initiated by Joint Commission. You may want to make your leaders feel more confident in how they work and empower them with new skills in order to get the job done. Whatever your reason LEO can help.
LEO is suitable for:
Anyone who is in a position to influence others, whatever their discipline, and works on the premise that leaders can be found at all levels of the organization. This can include:
- Staff members who demonstrate leadership
- Team leaders
- Charge Nurses
- Unit Managers
- Departmental Directors
- Senior Executives
- Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Directors and Administrators.
The LEO program has been attended by more than 100,000 participants from a variety of healthcare disciplines. Come and join us here in Sarasota this September to find out why 99% of those who have already attended the LEO program would recommend it to others.
